The local government unit of Sultan Naga Dimaporo (SND) with the unwavering support of the Municipal Local Government Operation Office (MLGOO) headed by Ms. Alele Palao has presented the third batch of drug surrenderers who will undergo the Community-Based Rehabilitation Program (CBRP).
This activity in in congruence with the mandate of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) for local government units (LGUs) to adopt this measure towards the prevention and eradication of drug abuse through CBRP for low-risk and mild-risk drug surrenderers.
SND officials have vouch with the direction of the DILF considering CBRP as one essential step to attain a drug-free communities.
“We need to invest time, resources and effort to make the anti-drug campaign attainable having CBRP as an effective and efficient tool to deliver our specific interventions to all surrenderers”, SND Mayor Ulwan Dimaporo said in an interview.
Aside from the MLGOO other stakeholders and other government agency representatives of SND town have shared also their time and effort to make the CBRP initiative possible.
